We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Our room was large (especially the bed) and clean. We were on the 6th floor and had views of the Pyramids from our window.Water pressure in the shower was excellent. The Continental style breakfast, while not 5 star, was more than adequate. We found the Husa Pyramids Hotel to be excellent value for money. Would we stay there again - absolutely. :-). Thankyou Husa.

Some people are never happy, and undoubtedly some will complain here too as they will expect 7 star service for a 4 star price. Whinge away and stay away - leaving the rooms for us and others that know a good deal when they see it.

    Fabulous

Staff were extremely helpful and they constantly looked out for our welfare. Trips were well organised by internal provider (even before we got there!) and they didn't appear upset that we were unable to do all they'd arranged. Food was good, varied and plentiful. Public spaces were bright and clean.

Coming from a spotless Kenyan hotel, our room initially seemed "grubby". It was actually quite clean but furnishings/decor rather ageing and dark. Cairo seems generally grimey anyway, though. It would have been nice if the pool had been heated. We wanted a swim after our first day's tour of the pyramids but the water was too cold.

    Nothing special in particular.

If you want to stay late forget it! cleaners knock your door at 8 am in the morning and keep on knocking it till you answer. Besides, there is a school (or whatever) by the hotel and you wake up with the announcements for students. I recommend you go to bed early so you can wake up early yourself and have a fresh start to the day. Reception staff seems interested in your requests, particularly your travel requests. They never recommend to use a public transport, instead they guide you to taxis (generally drivers who are friends of the hotel staff) which is disturbing. Internet is a disaster, the slowest connection in the world for 30 egyptian pounds (5 US dolars) for 1 hour. I recommend not to use it or you will go crazy!

The staff was quite polite and helpful

I had two nights here on two different days. One of the rooms was really good, but the other one was not that much. So it was strange for me that there was such a big difference between the rooms. What I did not like the most was the noise, it was really hard to sleep in this way.

    Fabulous

The staff is very kind, and the hotel has good resources for tourism (shops, an specialized agency - excellent service - and good room service also.)

The lifts are narrow, but nothing to panic

    Fabulous

We arranged with the hotel for extra cost to be collected from the airport. This turned out to be the best decision ever. The airport was absolutely crazy(being the end of Ramadan and start of the eed) with people fighting in the queues and for trolleys with total disregard for others, by the time we were ready to leave we were all incredibly stressed. The people from the hotel were great, they were waiting for us and spoke great English and had a good sense of humour. The same people sorted out tours for us and were excellent to deal with. The hotel is a bit old but the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. They had constant security(police/army ) outside. There is a great view of the pyramids from a bar/restaurant upstairs.

The hotel was right next to a mosque so reasonably loud prayer calls very early in the morning(4.30ish).Also, we were surprised to find that on top of the considerable costs for the tours that the hotel arranged for us, we were expected to still tip the driver and tour guide. We were taken to extra places(not requested for the tour by ourselves) These were perfume shops, papyrus and cotton (t. shirts etc) shops. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and found the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was a problem to organise.
